This album was nearly perfect, he only had 6 guest appearances which is good. plus it had no short interludes or intros. It was straight 18 songs of fire, good job jeezy. album of year so far.

better than LAX? well on first listening yes, i was more impressed to be 100% honest. but the more i listen to LAX the more i love it, LAX reminds me of all eyez on me for some reason, probably just the raw westside sound - because i wasn't expecting it like that i didn't like it so much on 1st listen, by the 3rd i was lovin' it.

this is exactly what you expect from jeezy. collab with nas was nice aswell, better than letter to the king by far.

LAX was The Games worst album, The Recession was Jeezy's best. there's nuttin wrong wit talkin about trappin. Every song was fire on jeezy's album, the nas song to end the albums was better on Jeezy's. Jeezy didn't have DMX do a shitty intro and outro and he didn't have any interludes. he startin wit fire and ended wit fire. case closed. but we kno jeezy ain't gonna win nothin because he be talkin about trappin. yeah I'm from the west but I'm not bias. We have slot of garbage rappers out here. I just love hip hop and good music. I don't think LAX is games worst album. It's better than the doctors advocate. Nothing will be better than the documentary. I feel the same way about jeezy. This album is better than his last one but nothing will top his first one!! This will be a good year for hip hop, slot of good albums have dropped and there are more to come. Hopefully dre will finally put out detox this year. But I don't see it happening.

I can listen to this whole CD it had me from the start and at the end RATED- 7/8 outta 10. Needs to switch it up a lil but still DOPE

i agree wit u and i feel the same way about lovin hip hop. just one thing, i love jeezy's first album, but i think this one might of topped it. every song was good on this album, and the other one had some below average songs. much respect to Cali25 for keepin it real though.

as far as rankings go i give this cd a 7.5/10 there's about 3 tracks on there where the beat sounds the same (tracks 6, 7, 16) but other than then theres sum tracks where he could've done much better on this and no this cd has not topped the first 1.

Don't get me wrong i like the Game's new cd LAX, but this album right here is the hardest album out right now. I was disapointed in that Paper Trail cd, my question is how come all these rappers majority have turned their albums to like 80 percent R&B type shit, and the 20 percent is some thuggish shit. But anyway, Young jeezy's going to have a field day, with gucci mane getting locked up for 3 years, for assaulting his manager, and failure to complete community service.
