Lovestoned! Finally here it comes: the eagerly anticipated follow-up album of DJ
und producer Oliver Koletzki, set for release in September this year. After the
success of ?Gro-stadtm?rchen? Oliver Koletzki has teamed up with singer Fran,
voice of the ?ber-successful single ?Hypnotized", to record an 11-track
electronic pop album. Fran and Oliver are not merely partners in crime when it
comes to music - they are also lovestoned, glued together by their mutual love
for music and their love for each other. A fact that is omnipresent on their new
album: eleven songs about getting to know each other, eleven songs about
spending time together, eleven songs about the first kiss, eleven songs about
the wonder that is love! Muscially, ?Lovestoned? is a journey through Fran?s and
Oliver?s different influences: from sample-based house to synthie-pop, from late
70ies glam to late 90ies ambient in the style of Bonobo and on top this album
also includes some nuggets of Jazz. The impeccable songwriting, the feeling for
the right dose of pop anthems, Fran?s pure voice in English and German elevate
Fran?s and Oliver?s music to a new height. But let?s start dipping into it:
Things get going straight away with the summery 70ies-inspired glam-pop track
?Lovestoned", a smooth funk-riden piece with shimmery guitars and funky slap
bass guitars. This intro track brings the message of the album to the point:
freshly in love, honey-dipped, sugar-like and skyscraper-high. That unique
feeling of being freshly in love! The journey into happiness continues with the
first single release ?Arrow and Bow? that reminisces 80ies pop sounds:
synthesizers that cause goose bumps, clap snares that will move heads and toes
and of course, Fran?s beautiful voice that reminds us of the wonderful game of
getting to know each other. But love can also be about sensitive feelings,
something that becomes clear on ?Echoes", one of the strongest tracks of the
album.

"Green, the colour of the trees stands for life, vitality and renewal. Sometimes when you look into people?s faces and consider the global situation, you will have the impression as if over thousands of years, all the green in humans has fadded. Some people look like dead trees, withourt leaves, no blossoms, no sap flows anymore. For the planet?s future I wolud like to see mankind dancing, full of joy and rotted in the earth again, so their sap rises and that luxuriant leaves and green can flourish."

Philip Gubelmann is the guide and leader of sax o' conga, born 1978 in Zurich, learned at the age of 10 years, playing the saxophone along with his twin brother, and later flute. Musical experience he earned at the "Swiss Jazz School in Bern and played in various funk bands and jazz groups," lead-alto at "ETH Big Band", live acts with DJs, gospel choirs, studio musicians, etc. International, he performed with Big Bands (France, Germany, Belgium, Hungary, Italy, China) and the band of DJ "Minus 8" (London, St. Petersburg, Moscow, Mastricht, Munich, Basel, Bern, Zurich, etc.), in which he also played the sax on the albums of DJ Minus 8 "Minuit" and "Eclectica". Currently Philipp plays e.g. with the singer Jillene Luce (USA), which could relase her own song on the latest "Cafe del Mar" CD. Finally, he is also saxophoneist in the "Swiss Army Big Band" directed by Pepe Lienhard. In addition to the performances is expanding his musical work on composing and producing music.

"Green Groove" is Chill-Out and Jazz in one. Wonderful melodies and saxophone solos make this album a unique treat for the ears. "Life is a gift and wonderful!"
