Do you think Halo 4 will ever be released?

I recently read that developers do have plans to make another Halo game but not for a few years time.

In all honestly i've never been a fan of the gaming series even when I first got Halo 3 but I started playing it not so long ago there and i'm loving it more than ever. It may not be a great game in some peoples minds but one thing I can say without doubt is that it's a fun one. There's nothing like playing team slayer riding on the back of a jeep flying into battle and then getting completely trashed when the car flips over lol

I also remember reading on here that there will not be another Halo game, at least not a proper one as in having the same name or story but I think the creators would be crazy not to. They're making crazy money off the series so why not continue it? I know there's a possibility they could ruin the series but as long as they work hard on developing them I doubt that'll happen.

Anyway leave your thoughts and opinions on the matter.

I admit it was a fun game... But it got mad old... gotta admit, having some friends over playing local multiplayer was the shit.. but that's what COD4 is now...

btw i don't believe halo 4 will be released, but they will continue to release homo useless games like halo wars... plus i think halo was supposed to be a trilogy anyways

I can see a another series coming out of Halo where Master Chief is in it, but not another continuation. Halo 3's ending kinda closed the possibilities of another Halo.

i never followed the story of the halos.. i played through most of the first two and i beat the third one, but i would always skip the cut scenes... i just really didnt care for the story much... the multiplayer is where it's at but it's nothing new or something that distinguishes itself from the other shooters...

im kinda excited for halo wars.. i belive it'll be a RTS like command and conquer, warcraft, etc..... i would love that.. having the dudes get in vehicles and do shit... atleast i hope that's what it's about...

COD 4 got boring very quickly is more like it.

I'm not fully turns ouaware of the whole Halo backstory but at the end of Halo 3 after the credits it t MasterChief is alive after all so why wouldn't there be a sequel? Maybe something happened with the Halo though which would mean they couldn't continue under that name. idk, like previously mentioned I don't know much about Halo and i've not played the third one for a while so i may be missing something.

they aint havin a sequel, the only thing thats comin out for halo is halo chronicles with peter jackson making a spin off of the game. The story ended, no more covenant, let it die

I'm sure the Bungie developers got bored of making the same game 3 times in a row. Which is why there won't be anymore Halo games. Hopefully.

Well Master Chiefs still alive
There could easily be load of fractions of the covantant left
Whatever planet the master chief is looking at the end could be filled with flood or and other species

if bungie want to make money and/or another halo they easily could they left it wide open masterchief alive along with cortana drifting towards a random planet. they could easily left him dead
