Final Fantasy VII Rated For Playstation Store & PSP
Are your seatbelts fastened? Get ready, Playstation fans. This morning, the ESRB updated with a new listing, and it’s one you might be pleased to hear. That’s right, Final Fantasy VII has been rated for the PS3 and PSP.
It’s hard to believe that this legendary RPG has existed for over 12 years, spawning spin offs (Before Crisis, Dirge of Cerberus, Crisis Core), movies (Advent Children) and countless bad cosplay suits, but never a true remake. Rumors have been surfacing for a remake for years, but this addition of the PS1 Classics version of the game could mean that an HD Final Fantasy VII is a lot farther off than we might like. While no date has been confirmed as of yet, the fact that Advent Children Complete releases in the US the day of Sony’s E3 press conference means that Tuesday is as good a time as any to expect this landmark title to hit the Playstation Store. You’re free to keep the remake wishes coming, but it looks like we won’t be seeing one for quite some time. lol cool except sadly i own 1,2,4,5,6,7,8,9,10,12 already i havent played 1,2,5 though and 12 was so gay i just played my friends file too see the ending which sucked too

If it's a full remake, then that'll be awesome. If it's just a re-release with a couple more pixels added, then they should make a "classics" package with VII, VIII, and IX (all PS1 titles) and release them together. Buying an identical game just to play it on a modern console isn't worth it.
