therefore, because, i mistepped my priorities
they, accordingly, pushed back my album 'til forever
that's punishment for me being disorderly
beefing on the radio over another rappers to boost promotion
little did i know his entourage boosted with loose emotion
my bodyguard got shot just because he was doing his job
all that jewerly i was frontin'- preparing myself to get robbed!!
alot different from your average, every weekday, nine to five job
mixed reviews from mixtapes
and mistakes in gettin' rhymes disolved
dilluted to this dr. suess synth-rhymatic format
rap purists now with more plausible excuses as to why they ignore rap
i say nothing, but recycle whut's said, previously-tell them to go 'snap'
the underground bigots get offensive and diss an entire region, in fact
with not any reason to back, because whut they're speaking is wack
and truthfully, more jealous because their funds don't add, but subtract
i say again, i love my culture, but i got bills to pay, debts to return
......death is in concern when walking that tightrope;
and i know i'm crossed between righteousness vs. the sideshow
noone's around when you drop knowledge, so how can they listen?
i reinterate; i KNOW it's life, but sales DO regulate your position!!
