Thats why. When you download it for the first time it asks you what you wanted to subscribe to and you are supposed to pick easylist USA and press the suscribe button.

Uninstall it and install it again.

When you downloaded Adblock Plus you had to pick from a couple of subscriptions. You are supposed to pick Easylist USA.
