Wahlberg To Star In 'Max Payne'
 Casting the leads in videogame-inspired movies is always dicey...but seriously, Mark Wahlberg as Max Payne? Looks like it's going to happen. Marky Mark is negotiating to play the titular cop who plays by his own rules and can slow time down, then dodge out of the way of bullets. As of post time, The Funky Bunch had no comment. The movie will be directed by John Moore whose credits include such "meh" fair as Behind Enemy Lines, Flight of the Phoenix and The Omen. What do you think of the decision? We think it could be a lot worse, but we also think Hollywood should avoid making videogame movies altogether. Their track record is not that stellar. Variety: Mark Wahlberg to star in 'Max'

cool. he was a good actor in shooter. hopefully he pulls this off. same with the director and everybody else doing this movie. is there an expected release date?

The Max Payne movie only gon be good if they put alot of cgi on it. Like a rotating camera when he go on slow-mo.
But Mark Walberg'd be the shit. Although he dont really look like Max Payne lol
