The Game #2 Due To SoundScan Reporting Error PDF Print E-mail

Earlier reports of stating that The Game's album L.A.X. was the best selling album in the country have turned out to be incorrect, due to an error in Neilsen’s Soundscan reports. According to a representative for SoundScan, the company’s original sales figures were off, due to the Labor Day holiday weekend, which caused a delay in sales data, which was posted online.

Metal group SlipKnot’s album All Hope Is Gone actually took the #1 spot on Billboard’s Top 200 Album’s chart, selling 239,516 copies.

The Game’s third album L.A.X. sold 238,382 copies and was beaten out by only 1,134 units.

Although he scored a controversial #2 chart position on The Game still landed a #1 chart debut for a third time, topping the Hip-Hop/R&B Chart.

Adamant to fans and media alike this will be his last album, Game feel assured that this album is a fitting end to his legacy as a solo artist and quiets critics who questioned his songwriting ability.

“Being #1 for the third time makes me feel good, especially since I put my all into this album,” a proud Game explained. “There should be no doubt by the critics if a label, producer or hook singer can stagger my ability to make songs or an album. I hope my fans enjoy this one more than others, because this one defines me, my life, and my place in Hip-Hop.”

On iTunes alone, the album sold 130, 000 copies the first day of release.

L.A.X. features a staggering guest list of today’s top Hip-Hop and R&B stars: Lil Wayne, Nas, Ice Cube, DMX, Ludacris, Common Raekwon, Chrisette Michele, Raheem DeVaughn, Bilal, Ne-Yo, LaToya Williams, and Keyshia Cole.

Game’s third album L.A.X. is available now in stores and through iTunes download.

dude who said too many guest spots on the games LAX is illiterate in the sense that one of the greatest rappers to ever grace a mic, TUPAC, had like over 30 guest spots on, ALL EYES ON ME......about 15 on each cd.....so check your rap sheet bitch......LAX is not ALL EYES ON ME, but its still dope as hell....

u no this coo this album is the best album of the year i cop it. it's kind of bad that a album as good as this one get no credit cuz where the rap game have gone with beats standing out over lyrics. that jezzy album coo but man thats all it is i cant really listen to it like that but thats me. i cant see it being close to nas album let a long lax not even close but in my eyes. my president is black only talk about a black president when nas spit jezzy talk about his rims and car being blue cuz im cripping too but man stay on topic. put on is hard but again jezzy talk about nothing lax is a killer listen to it again classic.

i deffinetly dont think that this was his best album, not all of his beats were good, the intro with DMX and outro was shitty... should have atleast rapped in one of his songs. Also i was expecting icecube to rap in his songs besides just doing a chorus. So in all... not his best album.

whoever wow is he wrong there is a lot of good songs on lax

lets start with the intro of course dmx praying to the one above is a good start to the cd then state of emergency with ice cube is probbly the best song on there my life is a slow song and dope boys is better than my life and games pain is another good song but it is kinda old and ya heard me with ludacris has a fire beat and cali sunshine is made for cali people who actually know about lax and los angeles

I have L.A.X , the whole album,and i'm enjoying it a lot, it's not a classic, it's not a classic album, but i think game is a legend, at least for me, my favorite rapper.

It's a very good album, and i think it's way better than T.O.S, The Carter 3, II Trill, i think L.A.X is even better than Nas' new one.

Game is never gonna beat The Documentary, that makes me so sad...

i just can't get into jeezy's album alot of the beats seem similar and he isn't that as an mc

for me game's album was ok a couple of songs i didn't like but it's better than jeezy's

T.I's album will do both though

Game's Album is definetly a must have. He really showed his lyricist ability, i mean that song with common about Hip Hop. I wuz like damn. And "My Life" is arguably the Hip Hop song of the year. Real shit. Game's a name dropper, but that's cuz he don't give a fuck. He muthafuckin G.
Everybody talkin bout Jeezy'z album I mean everytime he has a collabo he gets killed. He let Kanye get on Put On, put Jeezys verse to rest, then he let Nas get on my President is Black, Nas put his verse in the grave. I mean Jeezy got beats, but aint like he makin em.

Niggaz kill me when they pull Tupac out their ass when it come to referencing anything hip-hop related....Anyone with alot of niggaz on your joint is garbage to me...WEAK!!
