Legendary pop singer Michael Jackson was taken to the hospital, where died today, after suffering a heart attack in Los Angeles, California today (June 25).
Paramedics administered CPR on the 50-year-singer, as he was rushed to a local Los Angeles hospital via an ambulance.

Calls from Jackson’s house were placed to 911 around 12:20 PM PT from his Holmby Hills home in Los Angeles, according to TMZ.

In December of 2008, Jackson’s brother Jermaine made startling claims that the King of Pop was suffering from a rare lung disease and other potentially fatal illnesses, although neither health issues were confirmed.

Jackson was currently in the middle of planning a 50-date concert series at London’s O2 Arena, as well as working on a come back album.

i will say michael is probably happy to be away from the media the ones who stayed on his ass and stressed him but yet the same ones who claim to be sad by his passing. thats two faced shit. too many entertainers and stars are dyin at young ages due to stress from the media all cuz they want exclusives. all say he will be missed but not half of them even was even thinking about him last week. he will be missed and its a even worse that two stars died on the same day. rip michael jackson and farra faucet(sp) aka original charlies angel.

You know it's things like this that make us really appreciate what a true Artist like MJ gave to his fans,and the legacy he left behind. It might sound odd, but when a person becomes this big, with a "larger than life" presence, it make us think that there is a sense of immortality, in the person themselves, and not just the music. In my opinion, whoever thinks Micheal was a freak, sick or whatever obviously never took a look in the mirror...we all have problems behind closed doors..(maybe not to the extent of child molestation), but you do need to take into consideration that this man never had a childhood...(that itself will f@$# your head up)....money nor fame can make up for that...I'm 26 and grew up on Mike, and other generations as well, and the fact that MJ moved 750 million units worldwide--(yes 750 mil...look it up)..says enough...never once met him, or saw him in person, but finding out about the death (right after leaving out of Transformers) messed my whole mood up...I saw people crying and pretty much knew why...Bigger than Life, Better than anyone after him, and the business aspect he brought to the industry paved the way for anyone making millions...saying "you will be missed" is an understatement...for what it's worth, Thank You, and people tried to tarnish your image when you were here, but they can't deny your work, from the ground breaking mini movie style videos, to legendary concerts- Funny how everyone has only good things to say now...they say you're no one until you die, but Micheal Jackson proved that wrong and a whole lot more--RIP
